This is a Giant Red Velvet Mite that is trying to stuff itself into a hole but is probably too big to fit. These amazing creatures live underground but emerge after the first rain to find a mate. The males dance for the females and if the female likes his dance she will follow him to his castle, which he has constructed with twigs, leaves, and his own sperm. If a male comes across the castle of another male, he destroys it and sprays it with his own sperm.
